RESOLUTION NO. 91- 67 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE <br />TO MARE PAYMENT TO AMERITECH CREDIT CORPORATION <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF TWENTY-THREE THOUSAND THREE <br />HUNDRED EIGHTY-ONE DOLLARS FIFTY-THREE CENTS ($23,381®53) <br />FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE ENHANCED 9-1-1 SYSTEM AND <br />DECLARING AND EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, in May of 1988, Mayfield Village entered into a <br />lease purchase agreement with Ameritech Credit Corporation for <br />the enhanced 9-1-1 system; and <br />WHEREAS, such agreement provides for Mayfield Village to <br />have the right to purchase the equipment at any time during the <br />lease; and <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined advantageous to the <br />Village, to purchase such equipment at this time; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Director of Finance is hereby authorized <br />and directed to pay to Ameritech Credit Corporation the sum of <br />Twenty-Three Thousand Three Hundred Eighty-One Dollars and Fifty- <br />Three Cents ($23,381.53) for the purchase of the enhanced 9-1-1 <br />system in Mayfield Village. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, <br />resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements <br />including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety <br />and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the <br />reason that such a system would assist the safety forces in <br />
