RESOLUTION NO. 91- 67 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO MARE PAYMENT TO AMERITECH CREDIT CORPORATION IN THE AMOUNT OF TWENTY-THREE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY-ONE DOLLARS FIFTY-THREE CENTS ($23,381®53) FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE ENHANCED 9-1-1 SYSTEM AND DECLARING AND EMERGENCY WHEREAS, in May of 1988, Mayfield Village entered into a lease purchase agreement with Ameritech Credit Corporation for the enhanced 9-1-1 system; and WHEREAS, such agreement provides for Mayfield Village to have the right to purchase the equipment at any time during the lease; and WHEREAS, it has been determined advantageous to the Village, to purchase such equipment at this time; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. The Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed to pay to Ameritech Credit Corporation the sum of Twenty-Three Thousand Three Hundred Eighty-One Dollars and Fifty- Three Cents ($23,381.53) for the purchase of the enhanced 9-1-1 system in Mayfield Village. SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. SECTION 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the reason that such a system would assist the safety forces in
