RESOLUTION NO. .91-70 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />-TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH <br />SIGNAL SERVICE COMPANY IN AN AMOUNT NOT <br />TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED TEN THOUSAND <br />ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-SIX DOLLARS AND <br />FIFTY CENTS ($110,126.50) FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL <br />IMPROVEMENTS .ON WILSON MILLB ROAD <br />FROM LANDER ROAD TO BETA DRIVE AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. In accordance with bids received, pursuant to <br />advertisement as required by law, Signal Service Company is <br />hereby declared to be the lowest and best bidder for the traffic <br />signal improvements on Wilson Mills Road from Lander Road to Beta <br />Drive. <br />SECTION 2. The Mayor and President of Council are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Signal <br />Service Company in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Ten <br />Thousand One Hundred Twenty-Six Dollars and Fifty Cents <br />($110,126.50) for the aforesaid improvements in accordance with <br />the specifications of the contract upon which the bid was <br />received. <br />SECTION 3. All other bids received are hereby rejected. <br />SECTION 4. The Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, <br />resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements <br />including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code. <br />
