RESOLUTION NO. 91- 78 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD TO PARTICIPATE IN OHIO~S COOPERATIVE PURCHASING PROGRAM WHEREAS, Ohio's Cooperative Purchasing Act (Am. Sub. H.B. No. 100), was signed into law by Governor Richard F. Celeste on December 4, 1985; and WHEREAS, effective March 6, 1986, Ohio's Cooperative Purchasing Act provides the opportunity for counties, townships, municipal corporations and school districts to participate in contracts of the State of Ohio, Department of Administrative Services, Office of State Purchasing for the purchase of supplies, services, equipment and certain materials; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. The Council name of the Village of Mayfield which the Department of Adminis Purchasing has entered into for services, equipment and certain Code Section 125.04. hereby requests authority in the to participate in State contracts trative Services, Office of State the purchase of supplies, materials pursuant to Revised SECTION 2. The Mayor and President of Council are hereby authorized to agree in the name of the Village of Mayfield to be bound by all contract terms and conditions as the Department of Administrative Service, Office of State Purchasing prescribes. Such terms and conditions may include a reasonable fee to cover the administrative costs which the Department of Administrative Services incurs as a result of the Village of Hayfield's participation in a contract. Further, that the Mayor and President of Council hereby agree to be bound by all such terms and conditions. SECTION 3. The Mayor and President of Council are hereby authorized to agree in the name of the Village of Mayfield to directly pay the vendor, under each such state contract in which
