RESOLUTION NO. 91-61 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION <br />URGING THE ELECTORATE OF THE HILLCREST AREA <br />TO VOTE "YES" ON ISSUES 34 AND 34A AUTHORIZING <br />BOND ISSUES FOR PURPOSES OF GENERAL SCHOOL <br />OPERATION AND IMPROVEMENTS OF <br />THE HAYFIELD SCHOOL DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, Issues 34 and 34A will appear on the ballot at the <br />General Election to be held on November 5, 1991; and <br />WHEREAS, Issue 34 is a 5.9 Mill Bond Issue for purposes of <br />general school operation of the Mayfield School District; and <br />WHEREAS, the cost of the Bond Issue to the average homeowner <br />will by Fifty Cents ($.50) per day; and <br />WHEREAS, Issue 34A is a .7 Mill Bond Issue for purpose of <br />permanent improvements and replacements within the Mayfield <br />School District; and <br />WHEREAS, the cost of the Bond Issue to the average homeowner <br />will be six cents ($.06) per day; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, <br />have determined that the cost of the Bond Issues are reasonable <br />and that the passage of same will greatly benefit the students of <br />the Mayfield School District and the community in general; now, <br />therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio <br />hereby urge the electorate of the Hillcrest Area to vote "yes" on <br />Issues 34 and 34A authorizing the Bond Issues for purposes of <br />general school operation and improvements of the Mayfield School <br />District. <br />SECTION 2. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and <br />directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to the Clerks of <br />Councils for all communities in the Hillcrest Area and to the <br />Cleveland Plain Dealer, News Herald and the Sun Newspapers. <br />
