RESOLUTION NO. 91-85 (As Amended) <br />;; INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Pietrafese and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF AN APPLE <br />MACINTOSH SI COMPUTER FROM APPLE/HOLCOMB'S <br />IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED THREE THOUSAND <br />ONE HUNDRED SIXTY TWO DOLLARS AND NINETY CENTS <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, the Council unanimously adopted Resolution No. 91-85 <br />on October 21, 1991, authorizing the purchase of an Apple Macintosh <br />SI computer for an amount not to exceed Three Thousand One Hundred <br />Dollars; and <br />WHEREAS, the correct amount should have read Three Thousand <br />One Hundred Sixty Two Dollars and Ninety Cents ($3,162.90), which <br />was the actual amount of the purchase; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Resolution to amend <br />Resolution No. 91-85 to correspondence with the actual amount <br />spent. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby and herein authorized to <br />purchase an Apple Macintosh SI computer from Apple/Holcomb's in an <br />amount not to exceed Three Thousand One Hundred Sixty Two Dollars <br />and Ninety Cents ($3,162.90). <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of the Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution <br />have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of'~he residents of Mayfield Village for <br />the reason that such plan. was necessary to encourage orderly <br />development in Mayfield Village.
