RESOLUTION NO. 91-100 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole A RESOLUTION IIRGING THE CLEVELAND METROPARKS SYSTEM TO INSTALL A PIIBLIC PHONE NEAR THE FOREST GROVE PICNIC AREA WHEREAS, the Fire Chief has reported that access to emergency service is not readily available at all times for persons using the Forest Grove Picnic Area; and WHEREAS, the accessibility of emergency service is critical for the safety of the residents and transients of Mayfield Village; and WHEREAS; the Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village contend that a public phone near the Forest Grove Picnic Area would provide easy access to emergency service at all times; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, hereby urge the Metroparks Systems to install a public phone near the Forest Grove Picnic Area for the safety of the residents and transients of Mayfield Village. SECTION 2. That the Clerk of Council is hereby authorized to distribute this Resolution to the Director of the Cleveland Metroparks Systems, and to others as directed by the members of Council. SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public,. in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
