(90-47) Entitled, "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION <br />1153.02(g) OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, AS TO PROHIBIT INCINERATION, DUMPLING <br />AND STORAGE OF GARBAGE OR WASTE AND REPEALING ALL <br />ORDINANCE INCONSISTENT HEREWITH" the text attached <br />hereto and incorporated herein and identified as <br />"Exhibit A." <br />Thequestion to appear on the ballot shall be as follows: <br />A. SHALL ORDINANCE NO. 90-47, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />SECTION 1153.02(g) OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES AND <br />PROHIBITS INCINERATION, DUMPING AND STORAGE OF GARBAGE <br />OR WASTE, BE ADOPTED? <br />SECTION 2. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and <br />directed to certify a copy of the Ordinance to the Cuyahoga <br />County Board of Elections not less than sixty (60) days prior to <br />the regularly scheduled Primary Election on May 7, 1991, in order <br />to have the Ordinance and issue contained herein placed on the <br />ballot for this said Primary Election and to take whatever other <br />steps are necessary in order to comply with all directives of the <br />said Board of Elections in order to secure placement on the <br />ballot as aforesaid. <br />SECTION 3. The Director of Law is hereby authorized and <br />directed to confer with the Board of Elections of Cuyahoga <br />County, Ohio and the Secretary_ of State of Ohio, regarding the <br />ballot question and to make any changes necessary to comply with <br />current election law so long as the substance of any issue is not <br />changed. In the event of the necessity of a substantial change <br />of any issue, the Council shall first be consulted. <br />3ECTION 4. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and <br />directed either mail a copy of the full text of the proposed <br />Ordinance at least thirty (30) days prior to the date of the <br />election set forth in this Ordinance to each elector of the <br />Municipality whose name appears upon the registration books for <br />the last regular election held in the Municipality or shall cause <br />the full text of the proposed Ordinance to be published once a <br />week for not less than two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper <br />of general circulation in the Municipality with the first <br />publication being at least fifteen (15) days prior to the <br />election.
