INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a,Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />ENACTING SECTION 1309.21 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES <br />OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, PERTAINING TO THE FEE <br />FOR INQIIIRIES REGARDING DEVELOPMENT WITHIN <br />THE FLOOD PLAIN DISTRICT AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Section 1309.21 of the Codified Ordinances of <br />Mayfield Village, Ohio is hereby enacted to read as follows: <br />Chapter 1309 <br />Permits and Fees; Penalty <br />* * * <br />1309.21 INQUTRIES REGARDING PROPERTY CONTAINED IN FLOOD <br />PLAIN DISTRICT: FEE <br />? <br />The Village Engineer shall obtain, review and <br />utilize any data available in order to <br />determine whether any potential development <br />is contained with the Flood Plain District. <br />The fee for determining whether such property <br />is contained with the Flood Plan District <br />shall be Fifty Dollars ($50.00), plus Ten <br />Dollars ($10.00) as an administrative charge. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, <br />resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to <br />the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements <br />including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety <br />and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for.the <br />reason that the action taken herein is necessary to more <br /><<-s- effectively control costs in complying with such requests.
