ORDINANCE NO. 91- 08 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />GRANTING A CONDITIONAL PARRING VARIANCE TO <br />PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE COMPANY FOR THE <br />PREMISES RNOWN AS 6671 BETA DRIVE AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, Progressive Insurance Company has requested that <br />certain premises located at 6671 Beta Drive be used for the <br />operation of a training center; and <br />WHEREA3, the said premises are located within a Use <br />District zoned for Production-Distribution Use; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council acknowledge that because of <br />mixed use in a Production-Distribution District, different <br />parking requirements are-required in such a district; and <br />WHEREA3, on March 4th, 1991, the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission recommended to Council that a parking variance be <br />granted to Progressive Insurance Company to operate a training <br />center at such premises in compliance with certain conditions, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, to avoid unreasonable hardship to Progressive <br />Insurance Company, Council desires to grant a parking variance <br />for the property known as 6671 Beta Drive, subject to the <br />satisfaction of conditions stated by the Law Director to <br />Progressive Insurance Company in a letter dated, March 4th, 1991, <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein; now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Council hereby grants a parking variance for <br />the property known as 6671 Beta Drive owned by Progressive <br />Insurance Company, subject to the conditions stated by the Law <br />Director to Progressive Insurance in a letter dated, March 4th, <br />1991, attached hereto and incorporated herein. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this
