<br />*Failed 4/29/91 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 91-14 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and the Entire Council <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING SECTION 131.05(C) OF THE <br />CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />RE-ESTABLISHING THE COMPEN3ATION OF HUMAN SERVICES DIRECTOR, <br />REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Existing Subsection 131.05(c) of the Codified <br />Ordinances of Mayfield Village, Ohio,is hereby amended by <br />increasing the compensation of the Human Services Director so <br />that the new Subsection 131.05(c) will read as follows: <br />(c) The Human Services Director shall be paid a salary <br />of $10,400..00 per annum, for a minimum of twenty <br />,(2.0) hours per week. The Human Services Director <br />shall be a part-time position and such person <br />shall not be eligible for employment benefits <br />accorded to full-time employees of Mayfield <br />Village. <br />. SECTION 2. Al1 prior ordinances,inconsistent with this <br />Ordinance, in whoie or in part, are repealed to the extent <br />necessary to avoid'conflict with this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Ordinance have been taken,at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, <br />resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to <br />the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements <br />including the.requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code. <br />. SECTTON 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately neceisary for the preservation of <br />the health, safety and welfare of the r_esidents of Mayfield <br />Village, Ohio, for the reason that the Ordinance re-establishes <br />the coinpensation of a necessary municipal employee. It shall <br />therefore, take effect immediately upon the passage by the <br />a.ffirmative vote of not less than five (5) members elected to <br />.? <br />\ <br />? <br />, - - -
