AMENDID 7/29/91 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 91-20 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carme.n and Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />-` AMENDING CHAPTER 1173 OF THE <br />CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />PERTAINING TO OFFICE - LABORATORY USE AND <br />AREA REGULATIONS IN THE PRODOCTION-DI3TRIBUTION DISTRICT <br />AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH <br />WHEREAS, Section 1173.02 of the Codified Ordinances of <br />MayfieTd Village, Ohio, requires that buildings and uses in a <br />Production-Distribution District be subject to all lot area and <br />yard regulations, building area, off-street parking, loading and <br />access regulation, and other applicable regulations within such <br />district; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 1173.07(a)(1)(c) provides for off-street <br />parking in the Production-Distribution District; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 1173.04(a) of the Codified Ordinances of <br />Mayfield Village, Ohio, provides for lot area regulations in the <br />Production-Distribution District; and <br />WHEREAS, Council, with the recommendation of its Building <br />Commissioner and Village Engineer, has determined that Chapter <br />1173 of the Codified Ordinances needs to be amended to ensure <br />sufficient off-street parking when there is Office and Laboratory <br />use in the Production-Distribution District; now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Existing Section 1173.02, entitled <br />"Conformance," now consisting of Subsection (a) thru (e) is <br />hereby amended by adding Subsection (f) pertaining to the annual <br />review by the Building Commissioner of Office -Laboratory use in <br />a Production-Distribution District, so that the amended Section <br />1173.02 shall read as follows: <br />1173.02 CONFORMANCE. <br />(a) In order to carry out the purposes of this chapter <br />the Motorist Service District, Office-Laboratory <br />District and Production-Distribution District <br />regulations are hereby established. Whenever the <br />abbreviated terms M-S, O-L or P-D are used in this <br />chapter, they shall be construed as referring to the <br />respective district titles. <br />(b) Buildings and land shall be used only for the uses <br />specifically set forth as permitted in the districts <br />and not for uses enumerated in a prior or subsequent <br />use classification of the Zoning Code or this chapter <br />unless such uses are specifically permitted.
