ORDINANCE NO. 91-29. <br />Page 2 <br />(4) Police "Flash Account" 500.00 <br />(5) Investigative "Flash Account" 200.00 <br />(6) Clerk of Council Office 100.00 <br />Total Petty Cash $1,400.00 <br />(c) The following are the custodians for the repective <br />specific Petty Cash Accounts listed in subsection (b) <br />hereinabove: <br />(1) Finance Department: Assistance Finance Director <br />(2) Service Department amd Building Department: <br />Secretary to the Service/Building Commissioner <br />(3) Police Department: Secretary to the Chief of Police <br />(4) Police Flash Account: Chief of Police <br />(5) Investigative Flash Account: Dective assigned by the <br />Chief of Police <br />(6) Clerk of Council <br />The custodian shall assure that the petty cahs is kept in a <br />safe place. <br />(d) Whenever an individual's appointment as custodian is <br />terminated, the account will be replenished and the impressed <br />amount turned over to the treasurer or other disturbing officer. <br />(e) The Director of Finance is to maintain a record of the <br />custodians for the various Petty Cash Accounts and is authorized <br />to perform periodic audit reviews concerning the amount and <br />reconciled items helf by the custodians. <br />(f) The above authorized amount of 1,400.00 shall be <br />accounted for in the General Fund and is a Balance Sheet account <br />for the General Fund. <br />SECTION 2. Existing Secti.on 133.02 of the Codified Ordinances <br />of Mayfield Village, Ohio, is hereby repealed in its entirety. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance <br />have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements <br />of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Cocle.
