ORDINANCE NO. 91-38 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />ADOPTING NEW RIILES AND REGULATIONS FOR <br />TORMWATER MANAGEMENT AND ORBAN SEDIMENT <br />POLLUTION ABATEMENT AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, on June 16, 1990 Council adopted Ordinance <br />No. 90-21 which enacted Chapter 1127 that adopted the Rules and <br />Regulations for Stormwater Management and Urban Sediment <br />Pollution Abatement; and <br />WHEREAB, Village Engineer, Stephen Hovancsek, has <br />recommended that such Rules and Regulations be amended in order <br />to comply with all federal and state requirements; and <br />WHEREAB, the Council of Mayfield Village intends to adopt <br />the amended Rules and Regulations for Stormwater Management and <br />Urban Sediment Pollution Abatement and require all new <br />construction in Mayfield Village, to be in compliance with these <br />rules; now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The amended <br />Stormwater Management and Urban <br />attached hereto, is adopted and <br />the Codified Ordinances for the <br />standards and criteria to abate <br />of the water. <br />Rules and Regulations for <br />Sediment Pollution abatement, <br />incorporated in Chapter 1127 of <br />purpose of existing recommended <br />erosion of the soil and degration <br />SECTION 2. All prior Ordinances inconsistent with this <br />Ordinance, in whole or in part, are repealed to the extent <br />necessary to avoid conflict with this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, <br />resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to <br />the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements <br />including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code.
