ORDINANCE NO. 91-40 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDIIJANCE <br />AMENDING SECTION 1183.02(a) PERTAINING <br />TO THE STANDARDS OF OFF-STREET PARRING SPACES AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Section 1183.02(a) of the Codified Ordinances <br />of Mayfield Village is hereby amended pertaining to the standards <br />of off-street parking spaces so as to reduce the width of such <br />spaces so that new Section 1183.02(a) shall read as follows: <br />Chapter 1183 <br />Off-Street Parking and Loading <br />?r ?r * <br />1183.02 DEFINITIONS. <br />For the purpose of determining accessory off-street parking <br />requirements, definitions and standards shall be as follows: <br />(a) "Accessory parking space" means an open or enclosed <br />area accessible from a street for parking of motor <br />vehicles of owners, occupants, employees, customers or <br />tenants of the main building or use. Except for one <br />and two-family dwellings, each space shall not be less <br />than nine feet wide and 180 square feet in area <br />exclusive of all drives, curbs and turning space. The <br />number of spaces shall be determined from an accurate <br />plan of the area. <br />SECTION 2. All prior Ordinances inconsistent with this <br />Ordinance, in whole or in part, are repealed to the extent <br />necessary to avoid conflict with this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption.of this <br />Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, <br />resulting in such formal action, took place i'n meetings open to <br />the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements <br />including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code.
