M.V. ORDINANCE 91- <br />Page 8 <br />hereinabove and shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours of such additional <br />compensation. <br />e <br />11. In the event that a police officer, firefighter or service department <br />employee is required to report for any duties other than those on his <br />regular shift then such employee shall be compensated for such additional <br />duties at his regular hourly rate of pay as set forth in Subsection,(A) <br />hereinabove. Under these circumstances, each such employee shall be paid a <br />minimum of two (2) hours additional compensation. All overtime shall be <br />approved in advance by the Mayor unless there exists an emergency that <br />threatens the health, safety and welfare of the Municipality. <br />12. There shall be no uniform allowance or maintenance for part-time <br />police dispatchers, police secretaries, or Building and Service secretaries <br />and clerk receptionists. <br />C. Longevity Schedule 1. "Years of service" shall be defined as the total number of twelve <br />(12) month periods of service completed on or before December 31st of each <br />year. Each twelve (12) month period used to compute years of service <br />commences on the anniversary date of the employee's first date of <br />smployment and ends on the last day prior to the employee's next <br />consecutive anniversary date. <br />2. The only service that shall be used to compute longevity pay <br />shall be years of service as a full-time employee of Mayfield Village. <br />3. Each full-time employee of the Municipality shall be entitled to <br />longevity pay increases in accordance with the following schedule: <br />(I) For not less than five (5) years nor more than ten <br />10). years' service, Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00) <br />additional compensation per month. ' <br />(II) For not less than ten (10) Years nor more than <br />fifteen (15) years' service, Forty Dollars ($40.00) <br />additional compensation per month. <br />(III) For not less than fifteen (15) years nor more <br />than twenty (20) years' service, Fifty-Five Dollars <br />($55.00) additional compensation per month. <br />(IV) For more than twenty (20) years' service Seventy <br />Dollars ($70.00) additional compensation per month. <br />4. All full-time employees of the Municipality as of the date of <br />passage hereof shall retain, for the purpose of computing their longevity <br />?ay, the years of service credited to their employment with the
