Definition of Permanent Full-Time Employee <br />$20,239.00 <br />19,074.00 <br />-0- <br />2,292.00 <br />$ 9.36 $ 9.73 <br />8.82 $ 9.17 <br />$13.00 $13.00 <br />$10.69 $11.12 <br />For purposes of this Ordinance and benefits contained herein, a <br />permanent full-time employee is defined as a person who works forty (40) <br />hours per calendar week except in the case of the fire department employee <br />(excluding the Fire Chief) who works fifty-three hours per calendar week. <br />As a result thereof, any part-time person in the employment of the Village, <br />shall sign an acknowledgment that as a part-time employee, he/she is not <br />entitled to benefits contained herein. Failure of any part-time employee <br />to sign such acknowledgment will cause such employee to be immediately <br />dismissed. <br />C. Uniform Allowance and Maintenance <br />1. Uniform items for Police Department employees shall conform to the <br />specifications required by the Department's Manual of Rules and <br />Regulations, subject to the approval of the Chief of Police. All items <br />purchased by the Municipality shall be and remain the property of Mayfield <br />Village, Ohio. <br />2. The Municipality shall purchase for each newly employed full-time <br />police officer having arrest powers all items listed on Schedule "A", <br />attached hereto. Each newly employed full-time member of the Fire <br />Department shall be reimbursed for the costs of uniforms purchased by that <br />member for use in the member's employment in an amount not exceeding the <br />sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00). Each newly employed full-time <br />member of the Police Department not having arrest powers shall be <br />reimbursed for the cost of uniforms for us in that member's employment in <br />an amount not to exceed the sum of Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00).
