ORDINANCE N0.2013-16 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING CODIFIED ORDINANCE SECTION 351.03 RELATING TO PROHIBITED STANDING OR PARKING PLACES AND SECTION 1501.04 ENFORCEMENT RELATING TO THE ISSUING OF CITATIONS FOR VIOLATIONS IN FIRE LANES. WHEREAS, at the request of the Village's Fire Chief and Fire Marshal and after review and approval by the Ordinance Review Committee it is recommended that Codified Ordinance Section 351.03 PROHIBITED STANDING OR PARKING PLACES and Section 1501.04 ENFORCEMENT be amended to permit the Village's Fire Chief, Fire Marshal, Assistant Fire Marshal, Municipal ~ Fire Safety Inspector or the Fire Code Official the authority to enforce the provisions that prohibit standing or parking vehicles in a fire_lane on public or private property; and WHEREAS, Village Council deems it in the best interest of the Village and its residents to amend the sections as recommended by the Village's Fire Chief, Fire Marshal, and the Ordinance Review Committee. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. Sectioris 351.03(s) and 1501.04(b) of the Village's Codified Ordinances be amended to read as more fully set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. ~ ~ ~ . SECTION 2. All other provisions of the Village Codified Ordinances not inconsistent herewith shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3 . Tie Clerk of Council is authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Ordinance to tie Codifier of the .Village of Mayfield. SECTII)N ~4. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took
