ORDINANCE N0.2013-18 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING CODIFIED ORDINANCE SECTION 141.01(b) ESTABLISHMENT OF POSITIONS IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT IN REMOVING THE POSITION OF PART-TIME CAPTAIN. WHEREAS, after review and approval by the Ordinance Review Committee, it is recommended that Codified Ordinance Section 141.01(b) be amended to remove the reference to the position of Part-time Captain which is no longer an active position within the Fire Department; and WHEREAS, based upon the recommendation of the Ordinance Review Committee the Village Council deems it in the best interest of the Village and its residents and for the efficient operations of the Fire Department to amend the section. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. Section 141.01(b) of the Village's Codified Ordinances shall be amended to read as more fully set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. SECTION 2. All other provisions of the Village Codified Ordinances not inconsistent herewith shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3 . The Clerk of Council is authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Ordinance to the Codifier of the Village of Mayfield. SECTION 4. The Council fmds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
