<br />ORDINANCE N0.2012-01 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />REPEALING IN ITS ENTIRETY <br />CODIFIED ORDINANCE SECTION 131.05 <br />HUMAN SERVICES DIRECTOR <br />WHEREAS, the Village's Law Department has recommended that Codified Ordinance <br />Section 131.05 of the Village of Hayfield's Code pertaining to the establishment of the position of <br />Human Services Director, enacted per Ordinance 85-25, passed January 20, 1986 and as <br />subsequently amended, be repealed in its entirety since the position is no longer an active position; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Village Council, has deemed it to be in the best interest of health, safety, and <br />welfare of all Village residents to repeal the section in its entirety. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCII, OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, <br />OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Codified Ordinance Section 131.05 of the Codified Ordinances of Mayfield <br />Village as enacted per Ordinance 85-25, passed January 20, 1986 and as currently set forth be <br />repealed in its entirety. <br />SECTION 2. All other provisions of the Village's Codified Ordinances not inconsistent <br />herewith shall remain in full force and effect. <br />SECTION 3. The Clerk of Council is authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of <br />this Ordinance to the Codifier of the Village of Mayfield. <br />SECTION 4. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating <br />to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in <br />meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 5. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately <br />necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio. It shall, <br />therefore, take effect immediately upon the passage by the affirmative vote of not less than five (5) <br />
