~~ <br /> <br />(8) There shall only be one sign per candidate or issue per permanent parcel <br />number. <br />(9} Political signs shall -be displayed in front yards only, and if a vacant lot, shall be <br />displayed in the front half of the yard. <br />(10) Signs shall be securely fastened to the support stakes or posts, and inserted or <br />anchored to the ground in such a fashion that weather conditions will not cause them to fall, <br />bend, lean or twist. <br />(11) Any damage to property caused by the signs shall be repaired upon removal. <br />{12) Only the signs which are of candidates or issues which are on the ballot for <br />electors in the Municipality shall be permitted to be located within the Municipality. <br />{13) Candidates are personally responsible to keep a constant watch on their signs <br />and to maintain such signs in good condition, and to insure their continual compliance with this <br />code. In the event signs are no longer in good condition and are found to be deteriorating, <br />candidates are personally responsible to replace or remove such sign imrznediately. <br />(1¢\ A+ +1- +•m nr+~ rl +o nr hio ~u~ rnnroe or+n+;z in +n tie <br />„p }ntiY1;Tf' +n r~niitirnl 'rm ra~, ~ +~n„ ~y violation of this section shall cause notice from the <br />Building Commissioner's office to the candidate, who shall correct the violation immediately, <br />but not more than seventy-two hours from the time of the notification. Thereafter, the Building <br />Commissioner shall have the authority to remove such signs and place them in the Service <br />Garage. ~ ~ b <br />n f;~n + ,~ ,...+ f 1.;~,hnn_d.A,n~ :; it. Temporary signs for municipal functions shall be pezmitted and <br />shall not be subject to any of the guidelines under this chapter, except that no such sign shall <br />be permitted in excess of thirty days. <br />(Ord. 96-27.
