Mayfield Village Codified Ordinances 139.44 DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY HELD BY )POLICE DEPARTMENT. {a) Any property that has been seized in relation to a violation of Ohio RC. 9~ 8! .12 and _ ~ - o~eeed: z93s.4a any contraband in the custody of the Police Department that is subject to the provisions of Ohio R.C. 29 1.~shalI be held and disposed of pursuant to Ohio R.C. 9~ 8] .12 and any other _ _ _ _ _ _ _ - oe~etea: 2933.43 procedure provided by law. Any other property that has been lost, abandoned, stolen, seized ~etetea: z933.a3 pursuant to a search wan:ant, or otherwise lawfully seized or forfeited, and that is in the custody of the Police Department, shall be held and disposed of pursuant to Ohio R.C. X981.11 and any _ _ - _ - oe~eked: 2933.41 other procedure provided by law. (b) The Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to establish a Special Revenue Generic Fund Type which shall be known as the Law Enforcement Fund. Moneys resulting from the retention, sale or other disposition by the Police Department of contraband forfeited pursuant to Ohio R.C. 931.13_A shall be accounted for in the Fund af~er_payment of the charges_set _ - oetetea: 2933.43(c ~-~ forth in division (~){l) through (~~4) of thatsection. (c) Any and all moneys that result from the retention, sale or other disposition of property by the Police Department and that do not qualify to be accounted for in the Law Enforcement Fund, shall be accounted for in the General Fund.
