<br />ORDINANCE N0.2011-01 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />~_: <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />REPEALING IN ITS ENTIItETY CHAPTER 907 <br />OF THE VILLAGE'S CODIFIED ORDINANCES <br />PERTAINING TO THE BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE. <br />WHEREAS, at this time, based upon the recommendation of the Village's <br />Beautification Committee and further review and recommendation by the Ordinance Review <br />Committee, it has been deemed in the best interest of the well being and the health, safety and <br />welfare of the Village to specifically repeal in .its entirety Codified Ordinance Chapter 907 <br />establishing the Beautification Committee. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Chapter 907 of the Village's Codified Ordinances shall be repealed in <br />its entirety. <br />SECTION 2. The Beautification Committee shall remain as a standing committee of <br />Council and shall function based upon written standard guidelines that are established and <br />approved by the Committee and Council on an annual basis. <br />SECTION 3. All other provisions of the Village's Codified Ordinances not <br />inconsistent herewith shall remain in full force and effect. <br />SECTION 4. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions ofthis Council <br />relating to the adoption ofthis Ordinance have been taken at open meetings ofthis Council; <br />and that deliberations ofthis Council. and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, <br />took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements <br />including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 5. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, <br />Ohio. It shall, therefore, take effect immediately upon the passage by the affirmative vote of <br />
