ORDINANCE N0.2011-01 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole ~_: AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE REPEALING IN ITS ENTIItETY CHAPTER 907 OF THE VILLAGE'S CODIFIED ORDINANCES PERTAINING TO THE BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE. WHEREAS, at this time, based upon the recommendation of the Village's Beautification Committee and further review and recommendation by the Ordinance Review Committee, it has been deemed in the best interest of the well being and the health, safety and welfare of the Village to specifically repeal in .its entirety Codified Ordinance Chapter 907 establishing the Beautification Committee. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. Chapter 907 of the Village's Codified Ordinances shall be repealed in its entirety. SECTION 2. The Beautification Committee shall remain as a standing committee of Council and shall function based upon written standard guidelines that are established and approved by the Committee and Council on an annual basis. SECTION 3. All other provisions of the Village's Codified Ordinances not inconsistent herewith shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 4. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions ofthis Council relating to the adoption ofthis Ordinance have been taken at open meetings ofthis Council; and that deliberations ofthis Council. and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. SECTION 5. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio.
