_ ., , <br />7. The interests or estates sought to be appropriated include a fee simple in <br />the entire parcel known as 831-09-005. <br />8. Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 719.01(8), Ohio Constitution <br />Article VIII, Section 13, Article XVIII, Section 3 and Article I, Section 19 a <br />Municipal Corporation may appropriate real property in furtherance of <br />public purposes. <br />9. The appropriation of the aforesaid real property is sought for Municipal <br />public purposes. <br />10. In the promotion of the public interest of the residents of the Village of <br />Mayfield, it is necessary that the aforesaid real property be appropriated <br />to further the public purposes of economic development, to conserve the <br />natural resources of the Village by ,the creation of parks and green space <br />and to allow the continuation of a planned development. <br />11. Plaintiff, the Village of Mayfield has determined that the fair and <br />reasonable total value. of the real property which the Plaintiff, Village of <br />Mayfield seeks to acquire is the sum of One Million Seven Hundred and <br />Fifty Thousand Dollar ($1,750,000.00). <br />12. Plaintiff, the Village of Mayfield, has made an offer to Defendant <br />COSTANZO & SON, CO., to purchase its interest in the aforesaid real <br />property, but the offer has been refused by, Mr. Sam Constanzo on behalf <br />of Constanzo & Son, Company. <br />3 <br />
