J <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2011-24 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />CONFIRMING THE REAPPOINTMENT OF <br />EUNICE KALINA AS HUMAN SERVICES DIRECTOR <br />FOR HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO. <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor has reappointed Eunice Kalina as Human Services <br />Director and Council wishes to confirm such reappointment. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Mayor's reappointment of Eunice Kalina as Human Services <br />Director for Mayfield Village, Ohio is hereby confirmed. <br />SECTION 2. Eunice Kalina shall be employed and reappointed as the Human <br />Services Director for Mayfield Village, Ohio effective January 1, 2011 through <br />December 31, 2011 or until her successor is appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by <br />not less than four (4) members of Council, such employment to be terminable by <br />either the Village or said Human Services Director upon 30 days written notice to the <br />other. <br />SECTION 3. As the Human Services .Director Eunice Kalina shall be paid the <br />biweekly sum of Nine Hundred Fifteen Dollars and Ninety Three Cents ($9,15.93) for <br />a minimum of 25 hours per week. The Human Services Director shall be a part-time <br />position <br />SECTION 4. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of the <br />Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of <br />this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public in compliance with all <br />statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio <br />Revised Code. <br />SECTION 5. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the immediate preservation of the health, safety and. welfare <br />of the residents of Mayfield Village for the reason that such plan was necessary to <br />encourage orderly development in Mayfield Village. It shall, therefore, take effect <br />
