ORDINANCE NO. 2011-31 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE REPEALING IN ITS ENTIRETY CHAPTER 1309.22-PARK AND RECREATION IMPROVEMENT FUND FEE OF THE VILLAGE CODIFIED ORDINANCES. WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Ordinance Review Committee and Building Commission that, due to the fact that the fee noted in 1309.22 has not been collected by the Village since the time the Ordinance was enacted per Ord. 92-18, passed 6-1-92, Codified Ordinance Section 1309.22 shall be repealed in its entirety; and WHEREAS, Village Council, has deemed it to be in the best interest of health, safety, and welfare of all Village residents to enact the Ordinance Review Committee and Building Commissioner's recommendation and repeal Codified Ordinance Section 1309.22. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. Section 1309.22 of the Village's Codified Ordinances as enacted in 1992 as Ord. 92-18, per the recommendation of the Ordinance Review Committee and the Building Commissioner, shall be repealed in its entirety. SECTION 2. All other provisions of the Village's Codified Ordinances not inconsistent herewith shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3. The Clerk of Council is authorized and directed forward a certified copy of this Ordinance to the Codifier of the Village of Mayfield. SECTION 4. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
