Agreement between Mayfield Village and F.O.P. Lodge 57 <br />ARTICLE 21 <br />OVERTIME <br />Section 21.1. If an employee is on an eight (8) hour schedule, overtime hours are those hours <br />worked in excess of forty (40) hours in each scheduled work week. If an employee is on a twelve <br />(12) hour schedule, overtime hours are those hours worked in excess of eighty (80) hours in each <br />scheduled two-week work period. Overtime hours shall be compensated at a rate determined by <br />dividing the employee's annual base rate plus longevity pay by two thousand eighty (2,080) <br />hours, and multiplying by one and one-half (1 1/2) times. Vacation, holidays, personal days used <br />during any portion of the work week shall be counted for the purpose of determining the <br />existence of overtime worked during that period. <br />Section 21.2. If an employee is on a twelve (12) hour schedule, only in the week in which sick <br />leave is utilized shall sick leave not count as hours worked for the purposes of calculating <br />overtime. <br />Section 21.3. All full-time employees, shall, at their election, be able to accrue compensatory <br />time at one and one-half (1-1/2) times the number of overtime hours worked in lieu of cash <br />payment at the same rate that overtime would have been calculated (time and one-half vs. <br />straight overtime), up to a maximum of one hundred twenty (120) hours. In the event an <br />employee works overtime when his or her "compensatory time bank" is at one hundred and <br />twenty (120) hours, he or she shall be paid cash for such overtime. Employees shall cash out up <br />to twenty-four (24) hours of compensatory time at the end of each calendar year. Any <br />compensatory time remaining will be cashed out upon the employee's separation from <br />employment. <br />ARTICLE 22 <br />COURT TIME/CALL IN TIME <br />Section 22.1. Employees required to appear at a Municipal Court, when not on duty, shall <br />receive a minimum of two (2) hours pay. Employees required to appear at the Court of Common <br />Pleas, Grand Jury or Juvenile Court or attend proceedings that require travel within the corporate <br />limits of Cleveland, Ohio, when not on duty, shall receive a minimum of three (3) hours of pay. <br />19 <br />
