III. Eligible Applicants <br />As with past DHS grants, individual agencies or' departments will not apply to Ohio EMA foz <br />funding via FY2010 HSGP. Instead, individual agency oz depaztment needs will be forwarded to <br />and coordinated by each county's respective'Iezrorism Advisory Team The Team, via their <br />respective countyEMA office, will submit one comprehensive giant application to Ohio EMA_ <br />Each Ieam must gather, share, and consider needs -for all disciplines located within the county's <br />boundaries, to include those disciplines sharing a common county boundary. the Ieam, <br />can/should include and consider private as well as: public agency needs as they develop theiz• <br />countywide programs. the Ieam will not include. in the local budget any needs of•state or <br />federal agencies that may operate within the county. <br />The Ieam must be comprised of~af least one member ft•om.the following ten disciplines: Fire <br />sezvices, Emergency Medical Services, EMA, Police departments, Sheriff's Offrce, Public <br />Works departments, Public Health ozganizations, Township Trustees, Mayoz's office, and <br />County Commissioners' office (ot Chief Executive for Summit County). No one person on the <br />Ieam may represent multiple disciplines.. The Team may elect to have more than one <br />r•epr•esentative for' a given discipline, but the ~T~eam will ensure that no one discipline has the <br />majority of•r•epresentation on the Team.. The Team will also appoint its own Chair (oz Co- <br />Chairs) to oversee and du•ect the tasks of'the Ieam. <br />A current listintt of the Team's membership and Chaix•(s) must be submitted with the <br />county application in or•der~ to be eligible for• funding. This infozmation must be maintained <br />throughout the grant period in order to continue to remain eligible for funding. <br />Page 6 <br />
