J ORDINANCE N0.2011-43 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 1325.01 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES RELATIVE TO THE OHIO PLUMBING CODE WHEREAS, the Building Commissioner has made certain recommendations for adoption of the 2011 Ohio Plumbing Code; and WHEREAS, the Village Council, based upon these recommendations has deemed these amendments to be in the best interest of the health, safety and welfare of all Village residents. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. Section 1325.01 of the Codified Ordinances is hereby and herein amended to read as follows: 1325.01 ADOPTION BY REFERENCE Pursuant to Ohio R.C. 731.231, there is hereby adopted by and for the Village of Mayfield, the Ohio Plumbing Code, effective November 1, 2011, being Chapter 4102.2-56 to 69 of the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC), save and except such portions thereof (Ord. 2005-14. Passed 4-18- 05). SECTION 2. This Ordinance and the new Code shall be effective November. 1, 2011. SECTION 3. All other provisions of the Village's Codified Ordinances not inconsistent herewith shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 4. The Clerk of Council is authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Ordinance to the Codifier of the Village of Mayfield. SECTION 5. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
