ORDINANCE NO. 2010-03 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE COl`TFIRMIleTG THE REAPPOINTMENT OF EUNICE KALINA AS HUMAN SERVICES DI12EC7['OR FOR MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO. WHEREAS, the Mayor has reappointed Eunice Kalina as Human Services Director and Council wishes to confirm such reappointment. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. The Mayor's reappointment of Eunice Kalina as Human Services Director for Mayfield Village, Ohio is hereby confirmed. SECTION 2. Eunice Kalina shall be employed and reappointed as the Human Services Director for Mayfield Village, Ohio effective January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010 or until her successor is appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by not less than four (4) members of Council, such employment to be terminable by either the Village or said Human Services Director upon 30 days written notice to the other. SECTION 3. As the Human Services Director Eunice Kalina shall be paid the biweekly sum of Eight Hundred Sixty Three Dollars and Forty Three Cents ($863.43) for a minimum of 25 hours per week. The Human Services Director shall be a part- time position SECTION 4. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of the Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. SECTION 5. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the immediate preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village for the reason that such plan was necessary to encourage orderly development in Mayfield Village. It shall, therefore, take effect .
