New construction and substantial improvements shall be anchored to prevent <br />flotation, collapse, or lateral movement of the structure resulting from hydrodynamic <br />and hydrostatic loads, including the effects of buoyancy. Where a structure, including <br />its foundation members, is elevated on fill to or above the base flood elevation, the <br />requirements for anchoring (1125.04(d)(1)'' •?^? ^-)) and construction materials resistant <br />to flood damage (1125.04(d)(2)n•,?-') are satisfied. <br />QB: New construction and substantial improvements shall be constructed with <br />methods and materials resistant to flood damage. <br />LDC-. New construction and substantial improvements shall be constructed with <br />electrical, heating, ventilation, plumbing and air conditioning equipment and other <br />service facilities that are designed and/or elevated so as to prevent water from <br />entering or accumulating within the components during conditions of flooding. <br />t4JD: New construction and substantial improvement of any residential structure, <br />including manufactured homes, shall have the lowest floor, including basement, <br />elevated to ar above the flood protection elevation.
