ORDINANCE NO. 2009-03 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDIlo1ANCE <br />AMENDING SECTIOl\i 131.05(c) OF THE <br />CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION OF <br />HUMAN SERVICES I)IRECTOR FOR 2009 <br />AleTD REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES <br />INCONSISTENT THEREWITH. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Existing Section 131.05(c) of the Codified Ordinances of Mayfield <br />Village, Ohio, is hereby amended by increasing the compensation of the Human Services <br />Director so that the amended Section 131.05(c) shall read as follows: <br />(c) The Human Services Director shall be paid the biweekly sum of Eight <br />Hundred Sixty-Three and 43/100 Dollars ($863.43) for a minimum of <br />twenty-five (25) hours per week. This salary is retroactive to January 1, <br />2009. The Human Services Director shall be a part-time position. <br />SECTION 2. All prior ordinances inconsistent with this Ordinance, in whole or in <br />part, are repealed to the extent necessary to avoid conflict with this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this <br />Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of <br />this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory <br />requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield <br />Village, Ohio, and for the further reasons set forth in the preamble hereof. It shall, <br />therefore, take effect immediately upon the passage by the affirmative vote of not less
