Such <br />signs when employed shall be located near the floor level in addition to those signs <br />required for doors and corridors. The signs shall be illuminated in accordance with <br />1027.3 and 1027.4. Externally illuminated signs shall be sized in accordance with <br />(a)1011 5 1 to (b)1011.5.3. The bottom of the sign shall be not less than 6 in. but <br />not more than 18 in. above the floor.
