ORDINANCE NO. 2009-23 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN ElVIERGENCY ORI)INANCE <br />CREATING SECTION 1501.15 OF CHAPTER 1501, <br />ENTITLED FIRE PREVENTION CODE. <br />WIIEREAS, at this time, it has been deemed in the best interest of the health, <br />safety and welfare of all Village residents to specifically amend Chapter 1501 to <br />include Section 1501.15, officially establishing the Bureau of Fire Prevention. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF <br />MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Section 1501.15 of Chapter 1501 of the Codified Ordinances of <br />the Village establishing the Bureau of Fire Prevention is hereby and herein enacted to <br />read as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br />SECTION 2. All of the other provisions of the Village's Codified Ordinances <br />not inconsistent herewith shall remain in full force and effect. <br />SECTION 3. The Clerk of Council is authorized and directed to forward a <br />certified copy of this Ordinance to the Codifier of the Village of Mayfield. <br />SECTION 4. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this <br />Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of <br />this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its cominittees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all <br />statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio <br />Revised Code. <br />SECTION 5. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an einergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield <br />Village, Ohio.
