931.02 STREETS, UTILITIES AND PUBLIC SERVICES CODE S <br />(d) Nothing cantained in this section sha11 be construed as permitting power lines of <br />250 volts or less to be installed above ground in new major and minor subdivisions in violation <br />of the terms of Section 1119.07 of Part Eleven - Planning and Zoning Code. <br />(Ord. 72-18. Passed 5-15-72.) <br />931.02 POWER LINE GREATER THAN 33,400 VOLTS. <br />• Na person shall construct or maintain an electric power line carrying greater voltage <br />than 33,000 volts, without first obtaining a permit from Council. No charge shall be made for <br />such permit. The applicant sha11 first file plans and specifications which shall show the course <br />and route of such proposed line in or through the Mazucipality. Such Iine shall be installed <br />underground, at a mimimum depth of six feet below grade. It shall be backfilled by and laid in <br />at least six inches of sand. It shall be standard underground pipe type cable, lead covered, to be <br />no Iess than the standard minimum A.E.T.C. specification as to voltage, herein adopted. Such <br />line shall be encased in an enclosed sealed and welded steel pipe with protective sheath, having <br />a somatic coating. Such pipe may either be oil or gas filled and shall be capable of <br />withstanding any maintained pressure. <br />(Ord. 73-I1. Passed 2-19-73.) <br />2002 Replacement
