ORDINANCE NO. 2009-49 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING SECTION 1309.05(g)(5) <br />OF THE VII.LAGE'S CODII'IED ORDINAIlTCES <br />PERTAINING TO CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION FEES. <br />Va-IEREAS, at this time, it has been deemed in the best interest of the health, safety <br />and welfare of all Village residents to specifically amend Section 1309.05(g)(5) to increase <br />the Contractor Registration Fee which has not been increased since 1977. <br />NOW, TFEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION l. Section 1309.05(g)(5) of the Codified Ordinances of the Village <br />pertaining to Contractor Registration Fees is hereby and herein amended to read as <br />follows: <br />for service 25:99 <br />provided to a resident 100.00 <br />SECTION 2. All other provisions of the Village's Codified Ordinances not <br />inconsistent herewith shall remain in full force and effect. <br />SECTION 3. The Clerk of Council is authorized and directed to forward a certified <br />copy of this Ordinance to the Codifier of the Village of Mayfield. <br />SECTION 4. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this <br />Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this <br />Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory <br />requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 5. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield
