<br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE
<br />AMENDING CHAPTER 1309 OF THE
<br />VILLAGE'S CODIFIED ORDINANCES
<br />PERTAINING TO PERMITS AND FEES;
<br />PENALTY AND UPDATING THE PROVISION
<br />REGARDING INSURANGE REQUIREMENTS FOR
<br />CONTRACTORS REGISTERING IN THE VILLAGE.
<br />WHEREAS, at this time, it has been deemed in the best interest of the health, safety
<br />and welfare of all Village residents to specifically amend Chapter 1309 to update the provision
<br />pertaining to insurance requirements of contractors registering with the Village as provided in
<br />Chapter 1313.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD
<br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT:
<br />SECTION 1. Chapter 1309 of the Codified Ordinances of the Village pertaining to
<br />Permits and Fees; Penalty is hereby and herein amended to read as following:
<br />1309.23 Evidence of Insurance Required of Applicants for a Certificate of
<br />Registration of Contractor Pursuant to Chapter 1313.05.
<br />Liability insurance pursuant to Section 1313.05 in the amount

<br />limit for all persons for personal injury or death, and an amo

<br />damage to property caused by work authorized by the permit.
<br />SECTION 3. All other Codified Ordinances in Sections not specifically amended
<br />herein shall remain in effect unless inconsistent with this Ordinance.
<br />SECTION 3. The Clerk of Council is authorized and directed to forward a certified
<br />copy of this Ordinance to the Codifier of the Village of Mayfield.
<br />SECTION 4. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council
<br />relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council;
<br />and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action,
<br />took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements --
<br />including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
