'ORDINANCE NO. 2003-04 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE CREATING CERTAIN POSITIONS AND COMPENSATION THEREFORE RELEVANT TO THE SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM WHEREAS, the Mayfield Village Parks and Recreation Board is in the process of establishing and preparing for the 2003 Summer Camp Program; and WHEREAS, the Village of Mayfield and Mayfield City Schools Community Education and Recreation will jointly sponsor Sports `N More, sharing costs and revenues; and WHEREAS, Mayfield Village Parks and Recreation will receive twenty-five percent (25%) profit from the annual offering of Teen Adventure Camp jointly sponsored by Mayfield Heights Recreation and Mayfield Community Education; and WHEREAS, the Village of Mayfield will solely sponsor the Mayfield Junior Day Camp; and WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Parks and Recreation Board to contract out for certain summer camp employees; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Village of Mayfield to authorize the Sports `N More and "Mayfield Junior Day Camp" and to authorize those positions and salaries as hereinafter set forth. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. That the Mayfield Village Parks and Recreation Board's establishment of the "Sports `N More" and "Mayfield Junior Day Camp" are hereby and herein authorized, and the positions for the operation of same are established as hereinafter set forth with the maximum total compensation for each position category indicated adjacent thereto: POSITION SALARY TOTALS FOR EACH PERSON Sports `N More: Director $6,300 Assistant Director $2,500 Counselors $5.50 - 12.00 per hour
