5-2,e, CL"e,v?,cWl cep J <br />ORDINA-F?CE NO. 2003- 12 <br />INTRODU(?ED BY: Mayor Rinker and Councjl as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AUTHOR ING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A PURCHASE AGREEMENT <br />WITH E WARD R. FALKNER, INC., AS AND FOR THE ACQUISITION <br />OF R AL ESTATE LOCATED AT 710 S.O.M. CENTER ROAD <br />AND REFERRED TO AS PARCEL 2 <br />WHEREAS, the Vill e of Mayfield finds it in its best interest to acquire the property <br />located at 710 S.O.M. Cent Road; and <br />WHEREAS, Edward R. Fm Ikner, Inc., is the current owner of a parcel of land also <br />known as Permanent Parcel Nub?er 831-13-005, and referred to as Parcel 2. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA A D STATE OF OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Mayor is authoi <br />agreement in a form substantially similar to <br />as, Exhibit "A" with Edward R. Falkner, Inc. <br />and directed to enter into a purchase <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determin s that all formal actions of this Council <br />relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been t en at open meetings of this Council; <br />and that deliberations of this Council and of its committ es, resulting in such formal action, <br />took place in meetings open to the public, in complian e with all statutory requirements <br />including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared t \bbet n emergenc y measure <br />immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare e residents of Mayfield <br />Village, Ohio. It shall, therefore, take effect immediaten the passage by the <br />affirmative vote of not less than five (5) members elected tncil and approval by the <br />Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time allowed by law.
