Agreement between Mayfield VUage and F.O.P. Lodge 57 <br />ARTICLE 14 <br />WO.RKRULES <br />Section 14.1. The F.O.P. recognizes that the Employer has the right to promulgate work rules, <br />regulations, policies, and procedures, to regulate the personal conduct of empldyees, and the conduct <br />of the Employer's services and programs. This function shall be exercised in a manner consistent with <br />the terms of this Agreement subject to the rights of the employees and/or F.O.P. to process grievances <br />as provided for by this Agreement. <br />Section 14.2. Whenever feasible, as determined by the Employer, at least foriy-eight(48) hours <br />advance written notification will be given of the implementation of any new or revised work rule, <br />regulation, policy or procedure which affects members of the bargaining unit. The Employer shall post <br />a copy of the new revised work rule, etc., and will forward a copy to the representative of the F.O.P. <br />ARTICLE 15 <br />JIIRYSERVIC'E <br />Section 15.1. Employees summoned for jury service shall be fully paid at their regular rates of <br />compensation when required to serve as jtarors. All fees paid to such full-time employees for jury <br />service shall be remitted to the Director of Finance. At no time shall overtime be paid as a result of jury <br />service. <br />ARTICLE 16 <br />MILI.TAlz I' SER VICE <br />Section 16.1. Employees who are members of the Ohio National Guard, the Ohio Defense Corps, the <br />Ohio Naval Mlitia, or members of other reseive components of Armed Forces of the United State are <br />entitled to leave of absence from their respective duties for such time as they aze ordered by the military <br />to report for military service or field training or active duty for periods not to exceed thirty-six (36) <br />days in one calendar yea.r. Affected employees will provide a copy of such orders to the Employer as <br />early as reasonably possible so that all necessary arrangements can be made. Mlitary time will not be <br />used in the calculation of overtime. <br />Page 10 of 35
