URS will meet with MaySeld Village and stakeholders to review design development and cost estimates at the 30%, 70%, 90% and 100% progress stages. URS will develop a final Engineer's estimate. URS will provide one set of reproducibles and up to 12 sets of plans to Mayfield Village for contractor bidding. Task 6- Bidding and Construction Administration During the bidding phase, URS will conduct a pre-bid meeting with Contractors. URS will answer bidders' questions. URS will ta.bulate Contractor bids and provide an award recommendation to Mayfield Village. During the construction phase, URS will conduct a pre-construction meeting with the successful Gontractor. URS personnel will inspect construction, conduct weekly construction meetings, and provide plan interpretation and field direction to the Contractor. URS will review Contractor's material submittals, change requests, schedule, and applications for payment. Upon substantial completion, URS will develop a punch list for Contractor completion of the project. TERMS Compensation for the stated Scope of Work for Tasks 1-6 shall be on a time and materials basis of the direct labor rate for URS personnel, times a multiplier of 2.7, which includes normal direct expenses such as reproduction and travel expenses totaling One Hundred Forty One Thousand ($141,000.00) Dollars. The total amount charged for the above tasks will be an amount not-to-exceed the below listed amounts without prior approval from Mayfield Village. Task 1- Site Survey $ 24,400 Task 2- Geotechnical Investigations $ 3,500 Task 3- Preliminary Plan $ 6,000 Task 4- Permitting $ 13,000 Task 5- Construction Documents $ 49,100 Task 6- Bidding and Construction Administration 45,000 Total $141,000 TIME SCHEDULE URS will commence geotechnical investigations within one week of receipt of written authorization by Mayfield Village and completed in one day, weather pernutting. A letter of geotechnical findings will be issued 2 to 3 weeks after completion of geotechnical field activities. URS will present the Preliminary Plan within four (4) weeks of written authorization. Construction Documents are intended to be ready to bid by February 2003. Construction is envisioned as starting in mid June, upon completion of recreational use of the Wiley Park ballfield.
