ORDINANCE NO. 2001-02 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />CREATING CERTAIN POSITIONS AND COMPENSATION <br />THEREFORE RELEVANT TO THE SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, the Mayfield Village Parks and Recreation Committee is in the process <br />of establishing and preparing for the 2001 Summer Camp Program; and <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Mayfield and Mayfield City Schools Community Education <br />and Recreation will jointly sponsor Sports `N More, sharing costs and revenues; and <br />WHEREAS, Mayfield Village Parks and Recreation has agreed to pay the salaries <br />for the .Sports `N More Director and Assistant Director and Mayfield City Schools <br />Community Education will share the cost of counselors and some camp supplies; and <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Mayfield will solely sponsor the May-Ville Junior Camp; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Parks and Recreation Committee to <br />contract out for certain summer camp employees; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Village of Mayfield to authorize the Sports `N More <br />= and "May-Ville Junior Camp" and to authorize those positions and salaries as hereinafter <br />set forth. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION .1. That the Mayfield Village Parks and Recreation Committee's <br />establishment of the "Sports `N More" and "May-Ville Junior Camp" are hereby and herein <br />authorized, and the positions for the operation of same are established as hereinafter set <br />forth with the maximum total compensation for each position category indicated adjacent <br />thereto: <br />POSITION SALARY TOTALS FOR EACH PERSON <br />Sports `N More <br />Director $9,000.00 <br />Assistant Director $4,800.00 <br />Counselors $5.50 - 11.00 per hour
