Centi--x/White Roads. S.O.M. Center <br />Road wouid be widened to five (5) lancs for an estimated length of twe lve thousand seven h,undred <br />(12,700) lineal foot. White Road would be widened to three (3) lanes f,ir an estimated length of twelve <br />hundred (1,200) lineal foot. The work would include three (3) sigtalis:t :d intersections. 7he design and <br />plan prepatation serviees would be performed to be consistent with the new ODOT Loeal PuUlic Agency <br />policy_ <br />1. dlternative Alignment Study: URS will prepaze an alignmeri t study for S.O.M. Center Road <br />from White Road to Wilson Mil]s Road This alignment shtdJ' will identify potential right of way <br />impacts, potenbal environmental impacts, and potential utility impacts of providing a five lane <br />roadway section throughout the project limits. Field Survey: Using convenrional methods, IJRS will perforn r. field surveys consisting of the <br />following elements: <br />• L-stablish centet'lines of S.O.M- Center Road, Wilson vlills, Highland and White Road <br />? Cross Sections for proper drainage and alignment (ew:ry 50') <br />? General topo (hydrants, eateh basins, water, traffic, se wer, etc_) <br />• Right-of-way delineation <br />s $enCh MarkS <br />o Referer?ce Points <br />• Aerial Mapping (Wilson Mills to 1800 ft north af IIiI;hland ) <br />• Field sdukirag proposetd right nJ'way per direction o?f,SON Widenang Consr?:iffee. <br />Bench marks and control poin4s will be established at 800 foc l maximuan spacing throughout the <br />project. Cross sections will be taken at fifty-foot intervals an.c.100 feet left and right laterally <br />wichin the stated limits. Topography will be located within th e project ]imits. All tbe survey data <br />will be collected usin.g an electronie total station survey systei n and eonverted to base mapping in <br />an AutoCAD format. BaSe plans and profiles will be pi'epareil from the survey data collected and <br />verified. <br />3. lDetailed Design amd Plans $reparation: URS wil) prepare ;lesigr? plans in accordance with <br />ODOT design standards and construetion specifications for tl: e widc-ning and reconstruetion of <br />S.O.M.
