TX e Mod J'i?o. l mndificanons to the base <br />dncumeiet are annotated by bold italics funt. <br />SCOPE OF SERYICES <br />URS will provide the following speeific consulting strvices to perforrri the desig? and plan prepazation <br />documents needed for the widening attd reconstruction oF S.O_M_ Cem er/White Roads. S.O.M. Center <br />Road would be widened to five (5) lanes for an estimated lengih of r,wc; (ve thousand seven hundred <br />(12,700) lineal foot. White Road would be widened to three (3) lanes f':)r an estimatcd length of twelve <br />hundred (1,200) lineal foot. The work would include three (3) signalizi:•d intersections. The design and <br />plan prepazation senrices would be performed to be consistent with the: new ODOT T.ocal Public Agency <br />Policy. <br />1. Alternative Alignment Study: UR5 will prepare an alignmer,t study for S.O.M. Center Road <br />fzom White Road to Wilson Mills Road This alignment studq, will identify potenrial right of way <br />impacts, potential enYironmental impacts, and potential utility impacts of providing a five lane <br />roadway section throughout the projcct limits. URS will prep: ire a preliminary plan that addresses <br />these concems and ptesen4 it to the Village for approval be!'oxt: proceeding with final design. <br />Additional alignment studies, meetirig dup[ays, graphics, nri d meeting attendance wrt/a the <br />Village',c SOM Wideneng Commi[tee <br />2. Field Survey: Using conventional methods, UR5 will perfotr::h field swrveys consisting of flie <br />following elements: <br />? Establish ccnterlines of S.O.M. Ccnter Road, Wilson I',tills, Highlaud and White Road <br />• Cross 5ections for proper drainage and alignmenC (evtTy 50) <br />• General topo (hydrancs, catch basins, water, traffic, se,Ner, etc.) <br />• Right-of-way delineation <br />• Bench Marks <br />• Reference Points <br />• Aerial Mapping (Wilson Mills to 1800 ft north of Hi;;hland ) <br />• F[eld slakingproposed right of way per direction of.SOM R'idening Committee. <br />I3ench znarkS and control points wi11 be established at 800 fooi maximum spacing throughout the <br />project. Cross sections will be taken at fifty-foot intervals autcl 100 feet lefl and right laterally <br />within the stated limits_ Topography will be located within Uut project liznits. A.1] the survey data <br />will be collecled using an electionic total station survey systern and converted to base mapping in <br />an AutoCAD format. Base plans and profiles will be prepared from the sutvey data collected and <br />verified. <br />3. Detailed Design And Plans Prcparution: UR5 will prepaTC c' esign plans in accordance with <br />ODOT design standards and construction specificatiuns for th : widening and reconstruction of <br />S.O.M.
