AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />ADOPTING A TAX BUDGET FOR 1VIAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE OHIO, FOR THE TAX YEAR 2001 <br />? <br />., <br />ti <br />WHEREAS, Section 5705.28 of the OYuo Revised Code requires that, on or before the <br />15th day of July in 'bach year, the taYing authority of each subdivision adopt a tax budget for the <br />next succeeding fiscaf.,year; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed tax budget for Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the year 2002 has <br />been prepared by the Director of Finance in the form prescribed by law; and <br />WHEREAS, two (2) copies of the said budget have been placed on file in the Office of <br />the Director of Finance for public•'inspection more than ten (10) days prior to the adoption of this <br />Ordinance; and <br />WIiEREAS, the Council on Juiie 18, 2001, at 8:00 p.m. will hold a public hearing on the <br />said proposed budget, notice of said hearing will be published not less than ten (10) days prior to <br />% <br />the date thereof in a newspaper having geheral circulation with the Village of Mayfield, all as <br />required by Section 5705.30 of the Ohio Revised Code; and <br />WHEIZEAS, the Council deems it nec es§ary to adopt the said budget and to submit the <br />saTnne to the Cuyahoga County Auditor, as required'by law. <br />NOW, TI3EEREFORE, BE I'T ORDAINEDti BY THE COLTNCII, OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />•, <br />? <br />SECTION l. The tax budget of Mayfield Village, Ohio, showing anticipated receipts and <br />expenditures of the Village for the year 2001, a copy of whic)h,is attached hereto, marked Exiibit <br />"A" and incorporated herein as if fully rewritten, be the same\is hereby approved and adopted, <br />pursuant to Section 5705.28 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECT'ION 2. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized an2i directed to submit the said <br />budget to the Off ce of the Cuyahoga County Auditor on or before Ju1y\P, 2001. <br />? <br />SECTION 3. The Council fmds and determines that all formal \actions of this Council <br />relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings,,?f this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such 1crmal action, took <br />place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requireme?ts including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio ?Zevised Code. ??
