RESOLUTION N0. 2000-13 <br />xEsoLuTioN No. 2000- 13 <br />INTR.ODiJCBI) BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as aWhole <br />AN EWRC"rENCX RESOLUUTION <br />PROVIDING FOR. THE CREATION OF AN <br />IOINFRAST'RZJC'TURE IWROVENIENT FUND" AND <br />ALTTHORIZING THE I)EPOSIT OF FUNI)S TNI'O SUCH ACCOUN'T <br />WI-IEREAS, it is the desire of Council to set aside monies For the purpmse of addressing <br />numerous drainage and infrastructure issues in the Village. <br />NOW, THER.EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL QF NIAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OI-HO, THAT; <br />SEC'I'YON 1. That there is hereby and herein created a fund to be known as the <br />"Infrastrueture Improvement Fund". The sources of monies depasited into said fund sha11 be <br />determined by Council from time to time. Expenditures made from tlus fiand will be for the <br />purpase of paying the costs of planning, appraisals, surveys, engineering and improving <br />infrastructure throughout the Village, targeting in particular drainage and infrastructure issues and <br />any other expenses authorized by Council in relation to such issues. <br />SECTION 2. The Director of Finance is authorized and directed ta establish said fund, <br />and to deposit mozues therein as indicated by Council, and to make application to the Bureau of <br />Inspection of the State of Ohio for approval of the creation of the Infrastnacture Improvement <br />Fund pursuant to the provisions of Ohio lZevised Code Sectian 5705.12. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines tha.t all formal actions of the Council <br />relating to the adoption of this lgesolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Cpuncil and of its committees, resultzng in such formal action, took place <br />in meetings open to the public in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121,22 ofthe Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4. This Resolution is hereby deciared to be an emergency measure necessary <br />for the irnmediate preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Niayfield <br />Viilage for the reason that such plan was necessary to encourage orderly development in Mayfield <br />Village.
