ORDINANCE NO. 00- 04 ' INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE CREATING CERTAIN POSITIONS AND COMPENSATION THEREFORE RELEVANT TO THE SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM WHEREAS, the Mayfield Village Parks and Recreation Committee is in the process of establishing and preparing for the 2000 Summer Camp Program; and WHEREAS, the Village of Mayfield and Mayfield City Schools Community Education and Recreation will jointly sponsor May-Ville Sports/Fun Camp, sharing costs and revenues; and WHEREAS, Mayfield City Schools Community Education and Recreation has agreed to pay the salaries for the Sports Camp Director and Sport Counselors and the Village of Mayfield has agreed to pay the salary for the Sports Camp Assistant Director and for camp supplies; and WHEREAS, the Village of Mayfield will solely sponsor the May-Ville Junior Camp; and WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Parks and Recreation Committee to contract out for certain summer camp employees; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Village of Mayfield to authorize the "May-Ville Sports/Fun Camp" and "May-Ville Junior Camp" and to authorize those positions and salaries as hereinafter set forth. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE. COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. That the Mayfield Village Parks and Recreation Committee's establishment of the "May-Ville Sports/Fun Camp" and "May-Ville Junior Camp" are hereby and herein authorized, and the positions for the operation of same are established as hereinafter set forth with the maximum total compensation for each position category indicated adjacent thereto: POSITION SALARY TOTALS FOR EACH PERSON Snorts Cam Director Paid by Mayfield City Schools Community Education and Recreation ($5,800.00 and stipend if over specific camp enrollment). Assistant Director $3,200.00 Counselors $5.50 - 10.00 per hour (paid by Mayfield City Schools Community Education and Recreation)
