Overtime hours <br />shall be compensated at a rate determined by dividing a firefighter's annual base rate plus <br />longevity pay by two thousand, seven hundred fifty six (2,756) hours, and multiplying by <br />one and one-half times. Vacation, holidays, personal days during any portion of the work <br />week shall be accounted for the purpose of determining the existence of overtime worked <br />during that period.. (For the purpose of calculating overtime in a week that sick hours are <br />used, only the excess hours worked for that week shall be calculated by dividing the base <br />rate plus longevity by two thousand, seven hundred fifty six.
