Ordinance 2000-19 1. The Village and Mayor approve an annual bank of 480 hours of emergency snow removal hours to be used at the discretion of the Mayor or the Service Director. When a Service Department employee is called in to work during the hours between 12:00 midnight and 8:00 A.M. for the express purpose of plowing Village streets, trails or paths and the Service Director deems the situation to be an emergency, that employee will be compensated at rate of one and one half (1 1/z) times his regular rate of pay. If the 480 hours of snow removal time is exhausted during any year, the Mayor, as Safety Director, can replenish those hours or instruct the Service Director to use additional hours on an as-needed basis. The Service Director will keep Council appraised of all hours used beyond the 480 hours in a timely manner. 5.
