~~ <br />FIlVAL COST CERTIFICATE <br />I certify that: <br />~~ ` 3 <br />C;~ <br />1. Based on the actual cost and expense of constructing a road to be known as North <br />Chagrin Commons Boulevard in Mayfield Village, from White Road at a point approximately <br />1,000 feet west of the intersection of White Road with S.O.M. Center Road thence south <br />approximately 2,825 feet and terminating at a point located at the property line of the property <br />formerly known as the Associated Estates property and from there, a second road known as <br />Chagrin Commons Parkview Boulevard, approximately 610 feet east and terminating at the <br />intersection of Chagrin Commons Parkview Boulevard with S.O.M. Center Road by grading, <br />draining, excavating, paving with concrete and constructing a bicycle path, curbs, water mains, <br />sanitary sewers, service connections, valves, fire hydrants, storm sewers, catch basins, manholes <br />and vaults, together with the necessary appurtenances thereto, all as more specifically described <br />in the petition of Progressive Casualty Insurance Company dated October 26, 1998 {the Petition) <br />and the plans of the Village's consulting engineer, pursuant to and in accordance with Resolution <br />No. 98-17 adapted on November 9, 1998 (the Resolution), the aggregate final cost of that <br />improvement, including the costs specified in Section 727.08 of the Revised Code and aIt other <br />necessary expenditures, will be $3,377,453.16. <br />2. Of that cost, $1,265,801.58 is to be assessed in accordance with (i) the Petition, <br />{ii) the Resolution and (iii} Ordinance No. 98 ~8 passed on November 9; 1998 (collectively, the <br />Prior Proceedings). Pursuant to the Prior Proceedings, the balance, being $2,111,651.58, is to be <br />home by Mayfield Village, Ohio. <br />3. Any estimated special assessments set forth in the Prior Proceedings have been <br />decreased in the same proporrion as the actual cost of the improvement to be assessed pursuant to <br />such Prior Proceedings has been decreased from the estimated cost of the improvement to be <br />assessed pursuant to such Prior Proceedings, aiI as filed prior to the adoption of the Resolution, and <br />accordingly the revised special assessments for this improvement aggregate in amount <br />$1,265,801.58.
