. ~ 'Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council <br />NOPEC's consultant, Ridley & Associates, Inc., provides consulting services to <br />state and local governments on electric industry restructuring. The firm is noted <br />for pioneering work it has done on government aggregation. It has assisted in <br />drafting state and federal legislation on aggregation and represents communities in <br />tlia campatitive marketplace, conducting analysis and procurement for local loads <br />and energy supply. <br />The Board of Directors of NOPEC oversees the implementation and operation of the <br />Aggregation Program consistent with the provisions of Ohio Revised Code 4928.20 and the <br />Bylaws of the NOPEC organization. The Board of Directors, with the approval of the Assembly, <br />may also develop additional programs for members. The organization may employ a Fiscal <br />Agent and Executive Secretary and staff, if such are determined to be necessary by the Board, <br />and sufficient budget has been provided. <br /> <br />15 <br />
